The Roly RL-A400W is a 4,000 ANSI lumens WXGA laser projector built around genuine 3LCD imaging technology, sharing the same slim 420 x 100 x 280mm chassis as the rest of the RL-A series while stepping up to higher brightness output. Its compact, lightweight design is built for easy installation and portability, suiting classrooms, meeting rooms, and event spaces without compromising on image quality.
Because 3LCD technology delivers colour brightness equal to white brightness, the RL-A400W produces natural, vivid images without the rainbow effect associated with single-chip projection. ROLY’s Chameleon Color Richness Technology extends this further, covering more than 70% of the NTSC standard colour gamut so on-screen colour closely matches what the eye actually sees.
At the heart of the RL-A400W is a laser diode light source rated for up to 20,000 hours in Normal mode (25,000 hours in ECO mode), removing the cost and downtime of routine lamp replacement. The laser engine is also more energy-efficient than a conventional lamp, using over 30% less power than typical lamp-based projectors of similar output.
A dedicated Presentation Mode boosts black-and-white contrast for sharper, more legible text and charts in classroom and meeting settings, while the laser light engine is built for stable, uninterrupted 24/7 operation. Running in ECO mode also keeps operating noise down to as low as 28dB for quieter working and learning environments.
The RL-A400W projects a 30″ to 300″ image from a throw distance of roughly 0.94m to 11.60m, with both vertical and horizontal keystone correction to simplify off-angle setups.
