It delivers 3,600 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, integrating DLP® DarkChip3™ and BrilliantColor™ technology to produce sharp, vivid, high-contrast images even in rooms with ambient light. Its 0.48:1 short-throw fixed lens can project a large, clear image up to 150 inches from a short distance, making the most of tight spaces where the projector cannot be mounted far from the screen. The laser light source is rated for 20,000 hours of operation in Normal mode, and Vivitek states a long service life of up to 30,000 hours for the light source overall, greatly reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs compared to traditional lamp projectors. The entire optical system, from the laser light source through to the lens, is fully sealed and rated IP5X against dust ingress, helping the projector maintain consistent brightness and reliable performance over time with much less need for servicing.
