The Optoma AZW500 is one of Optoma’s most compact and hassle-free WXGA DuraCore laser projectors to date, up to 34% smaller than previous Optoma models in the same class. Designed for maintenance-free continuous operation, the Optoma AZW500 delivers powerful image performance with flexible installation features and extensive connectivity in a sleek, compact form factor suited to classroom and meeting room installations.
With 5,200 lumens of brightness, native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, and a 300,000:1 contrast ratio (3,000,000:1 dynamic), the Optoma AZW500 keeps presentations sharp and legible even in rooms with ambient light. Connectivity covers dual HDMI 1.4a inputs, RS232 and RJ45 for control-system integration, a USB-A power output for streaming dongles, and a built-in 15W speaker so a separate sound system isn’t needed in most rooms.
Installation on the Optoma AZW500 is flexible thanks to a 1.3x manual zoom lens, a 1.187:1–1.544:1 throw ratio, and support for 360-degree and portrait orientation projection with four-corner keystone correction, covering ceiling-mount, rear-shoot, and tabletop setups without extra hardware.
